TABA is seeking a capable, organised person to take on the TABA CBL Delegate role for the upcoming 2026 Country Basketball League season (OctoberโDecember).
The CBL Delegate oversees all operational aspects of our CBL program โ coordinating with coaches and team managers, managing court bookings, ensuring player registrations are completed, and supporting smooth gameโday delivery at our home games.
This includes scorer coordination, announcer coverage, referee support, matchโday programs, door management, and meeting all requirements set out in the CBL Operations Manual.
The CBL Delegate will be supported by the TABA Board.
Remuneration: To be discussed with applicants.
Season: Typically OctoberโDecember
If you are organised, communityโminded and keen to contribute to a strong senior basketball program, this is a great way to support TABA and help deliver a successful CBL season.

Adult Referees Needed
Traralgon Amateur Basketball Association are seeking expressions of interest fromย adults who are willing to re-engage in as a referee orย learn how to referee basketball.
We are currently experiencing a referee shortage, and this is placing pressure on our young officials and on the competition as a whole. With an additionalย 10โ15 adult referees, we would greatly reduce the number of games that are left with only one referee.
We appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication of our young referees, but we also need adults who bring confidence and life experience to help manage situations that may arise on court.
You donโt have to commit to a full night โ even doing one game before or after your childโs game is a massive help. And donโt worry if you havenโt refereed before, we will teach you what you need to know, and you will be supported every step of the way.
Hereโs what you can expect:
Lots of parents and former players have stepped in over the years โ some because their kids play, some because they enjoy being around basketball, and others simply because they like giving back.
If youโre interested (even just a little!), please reach out, we would love to chat with you.
