Our domestic competition is the largest program run by TABA. It is governed by our Match Committee in alignment with the TABA Domestic Playing Regulations to ensure fairness and consistency across all competitions. The playing regulations outline everything from registrations, uniforms, administration, finals and disputes.

TABA run 2 seasons per year:

  1. Summer Season (October to April)
  2. Winter Season (May to September)

Our junior competition ranges from under 10’s through to under 18’s for both boys and girls with A and B grades offered for most age groups.

All competition structures and nights of play are dependent on team entries each season. To view what the current structure is please go to the Fixtures and Ladder link below.

TABA do not organise players into teams. Teams are either independently compiled or created through a club and then registered to TABA via the ream registration process.

To find a team you can contact a club, compile your own team or contact us and we can try to assist you.

Current clubs include St. Michaels Basketball, Grey Street Basketball and St. Pauls Anglican Grammar.

Team and player registrations must be completed online through Play HQ.

Player registration and payments cannot be accepted in the TABA office. Players cannot take the court unless they are registered and paid via the PlayHQ team link which is provided to the team contact when the team entry is completed.
